Passionate about driving meaningful change, she is dedicated to ensuring families have access to skilled, high-quality care while promoting a more inclusive environment for children with disabilities.

Sanam Khan
MAM Care is led by Sanam, a mother of three children with complex medical needs and over 14 years of experience navigating the care sector. Drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience, Sanam takes a holistic approach to care, with a strong focus on family dynamics and the medical trauma families often face.

Our Clinical Lead Nurse is a Registered Specialist Children’s Nurse with a deep commitment to children and young people with complex needs. With expertise in community care, children’s commissioning, and SEND services for those aged 0–25, she is passionate about ensuring care packages truly meet individual needs while supporting and developing highly skilled, confident staff.

Training Lead Nurse I Adult Lead I CAHMS specialist
Jorjia Turner
Jorjia is a highly experienced nurse who leads training at MAM Care while also overseeing our adult services. She brings specialist expertise in CAMHS, supporting young people and adults with mental health needs, and ensuring smooth transitions from paediatric to adult care.
In her role, she designs and delivers bespoke training programmes for carers, ensuring that every child and adult in our care receives safe, consistent, and clinically informed support.

Lead Physiotherapist I Expertise in Respiratory Ventilation and neuromuscular physiotherapy
Georgie Staniland
Georgie brings a unique perspective to MAM Care as an in-house physiotherapist — a rare role in the care sector. She specialises in respiratory and neuromuscular physiotherapy. Georgie directly designs and delivers physiotherapy programmes and carer training in-house, ensuring every child’s care is safe, consistent, and informed by expert clinical knowledge. Her hands-on approach supports both the children and the carers, making a tangible difference in day-to-day care and long-term outcomes

Personal Care Assistants
Our Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) come from extensive care backgrounds and are highly trained to meet each individual’s specific needs. Their training goes beyond clinical and medical support, emphasizing compassion, empathy, and understanding the person behind the care. Our PCAs are committed to delivering holistic, person-centred care that treats each child, young person, or adult as a human being — not just a set of tasks
