At MAM Care, we help families navigate Personal Health Budgets (PHBs) and Direct Payments with confidence. Our goal is to empower you to make informed decisions, providing guidance, resources, and support every step of the way.
We offer a personalised consultation to understand your child’s needs, answer your questions, and create a recommendation letter for submission to the ICB. From there, we provide a starter booklet, templates, and step-by-step guidance to help you set up your PHB efficiently and safely.
Our specialist team is available through an advice line for 4–12 weeks to provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth transition into your PHB. We also offer a Templates Only option for families who are confident managing their PHB but still want legal and practical safeguards.
Many families are initially hesitant about a PHB, worrying that if staff leave or issues arise, they may struggle to maintain care. That’s where MAM Care makes the difference. With our emergency cover, interim support for sick leave or maternity, and flexible staffing, you always have a trusted connection to ensure care continues uninterrupted, giving you peace of mind while retaining control over your child’s support.
